Who we are

The Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice is a non-profit organisation working with and on behalf of those suffering injustice or disadvantage in society. Through social analysis and theological reflection the Centre is an actor for positive social change. The Centre is funded by the Irish Jesuit Province (see www.jesuit.ie for further information on the Jesuits in Ireland).

At the heart of our work lies the belief that every human being deserves dignity and respect. We work to achieve equality by representing the needs of some of the most marginalised people in our society. We do this by seeking changes in governmental policy and practice and by raising public awareness on difficult social issues.
